High school, and I'm not through yet, but I'm betting it won't be worth it.

I worked a full time job paid my way through college and obtained an Engineering degree. It took me 6 years total time although I took a semester off from school. Yes it was worth it. I was completely broke when I graduated but I've had good jobs ever since. I now still work hard but live comfortably.

I had to tell family and friends my 16 year old died in a routine (appendicitis) surgery last month. Was it worth it? Well, it had to be done. It let others into my life to help, so yea, I guess it was. Still wish I didn't have to make those calls, but that's not the card I was dealt.

Good job Caroline on learning English. I know its tough but Americans have a strong reservation about foreigners that can't speak it.
College, I abhor it and love it at the same time. I hate knowing my degree will likely put me no further then I would have been in the working world after 4-5 years, but i have learned so much more about myself.

Kick being addicted to drugs and I think that will give you the answer to the second question. It was more than worth it- it saved my life.

File for a divorce and yes it was worth every penny.Plus the happiness I saw in my children after the divorce was priceless.

I came to this country not knowing English and it was really rough in the beggining but I am glad that I did stick to it and was able to get good job and make a better life for myself.
