I watched all of Cromartie High, there's 26 episodes of it, it's pretty wicked in terms of humour, would end up laughing every episode (each episode is only ~10mins) or so.
i didn't read the manga, though i want to
the Cromartie High School Live Action Movie on the other hand, was utter garbage. What went well in the animation, did not translate onto the big screen. The movie lost all it's humour somewhat after the first 20 minutes.

The manga is great for stuff you don't see in the anime. But the live action version is just so amazing.

I have. watched all of them. Although i buy the manga too because it has more stuff that the anime didnt have.
