When I was pregnant w/ my first, sex started hurting then I found out I was pregnant. Being pregnant does increase the blood flow to your genital area making it more sensitive. But, something else could be going on too, so you should see the doc just in case.

You prolly just need some lubicant. Being too dry down there can cause too much friction and its hurts. Especially if you use condoms. But dont stop using condoms!! Just get a lubricant like KY Jelly or something. If your new at sex it may hurt the first couple times. When I switched partners my new uy was way bigger and it hurt the first couple weeks til i got "broke in" another possiblity could be an std or if you have an infection. You should go to a family planning clinic and get some free lube and get a std screening just to be safe.

Are you using a condom, because I know of people where sex hurts because they are allergic to the latex in the condoms. There are non-latex condoms around, but they are a little more expensive.
Sometimes also if you do it too often it can get a bit tender down there, maybe try giving it a rest for a while.
Also if you have a thrush infection it can get a bit tender, and dry. Are you moist enough when he enters?
Sorry to get into alot but you really didn't provide much information. I hope that this helps and that you work it out. Pregnancy, as far as I know, shouldn't cause it to hurt.

I had that problem Jan. of 2006 and I went to my doctor and I am glad I went when I did. I didn't have a STD but there was something else wrong. Just to be on the safe side see your doctor.

If he's doing it hard and fast, he could have bruised your pelvic bone, if the pain is "lower" he could be rubbing it raw. You only produce moisture when you first get aroused and eventually it goes away. So, if the sex lasts for a long time, once the skin gets dry it can cause this.

it very well could be that your uterus is tilted a bit ,which could have happened just being sexually active.that could cause discomfort.not to worry though there are ways they can fix it,if it becomes very uncomfortable where you can't tolerate it anymore.that has happened to me as well,i felt discomfort during sex, couldn't figure it out until i had a pap test done.that is how they discovered it.than when i had a baby ,i needed a Cesarean done, they corrected the problem, now i'm ok.
wise to check with your doctor.

There could be several reasons why it hurts to have sex such as STDs, inflammations, or psychological reasons. I don't think I've ever heard of painful sex because of pregnancy, though. For any of the reasons, though, you should see a doctor.

you should ask your doctor about any pain you experience during intercourse, and try to be gentle meanwhile. you could have an infection or something small like that, but you are probably not pregnant unless you are having unprotected sex
