What is the point of Yahoo Answers??
It is the Epitome of American Society today, ppl who are too lazy to look up the answer so they post question to find the answer
50% of the time they already know the answer
the other 50% they questions are sooooo retarded, just for cheap laughs i guess..

for the other question....i think ppl just like being around so many ppl....and hearing so many different oppions verses the bias of a dictionary or whatever u know.

for me it is a place to come and laugh and have a bit of fun. it is not serious all the time and at times envokes a thought or two. It is what you make it.
Life can get a bit troublesome and full of worries, YA is a place where you can leave all that at the door and have some mindless fun.

Maybe there are people who are too lazy to look up the answer or post question to find the answer, but there really are people who really really need help from us. Like relationship problem, health problem, etc...

i think the point is to get answers from a variety of people that can help you. Polls and surveys is about hanging out.
