What do you think the punishment for rape should be?

The ideal punishment should be left to the discretion of the victim.
Many times, I feel, delivery justice system takes a lenient view towards the perpetrator. So the criminal 'gets away' in a way which really hurts, isn't it?

So why not victim dictate the rules how to handle that ba5tard.

Possible 'punishments' may include:
1. Castration.
2. Slow and painful death.
3. Thrown into raging fire.
4. Crushed very slowly under a truck, starting from legs side. It will hurt more.
5. Clemency (only if victim agrees).

But some of them may not be acceptable as per the laws of 'Civilized Society'.

Interesting answers. Considering the actions has more to do with what's going in the brain rather than what is going on in the pants. It's a power thing. I would say shock therapy until they admit they did the wrong thing. And use a polygraph to make sure they weren't lying. I'm not a fan of shock therapy but in this instance i'd make an exception. Or let all the rape victims family members stone the perpertrator to near death. And a tracking device on there ankle to keep tabs on them "all the time".

Let the punishment fit the crime. Rape them and brutalize them and give them a trauma they have to live with the rest of their lives. Are you thinking of raping someone and just wonder what we think should happen?

i think the punishment for rape should be this......you hold the in a cell right next to the biggest most ugly, sickest smelliest guy thats doing life in prison for performing the most hanus act you could imagine to someone. i mean this guy just doesnt care and has the green light do do as he pleases.then you make him believe that this rapist next to him is the cause of all his problems. then turn him loose and record it. so if he lives he can watch it everyday for the rest of his time.

an answer more prone to violence, which in this case might be kind of appropriate, would be to form an organization of people who have been raped. you wouldn't necessarily have to have been raped to join the organization, you'd just have to be concerned about the issue. there would be no court cases involved, simply the results of the test performed by doctors presented to this organization. the rapist would be locked into metal boots, feet 3 ft. apart, and everyone in this organization would get to kick him as hard as they could in the crotch. anyone who rapes or molests a child should be thrown into an active volcano.

2. They should have their frank and beans removed surgically.
