Because its an old disk and when I try to install it, a message pops up telling me it may not be compatable with windows XP. Is there something I can do about that. It gives me the option of installing it anyway, but I dont want to take any risks.

Does anyone know if I can install it?

You are referring to the "This product did not pass Windows Logo Testing" or whatever it says during the installation. Good news though, this is a common message that will show up in the installation of about 75% of any new hardware. Just press Continue Anyway and you'll be fine.

Good luck!

I had the same problem when I tried to install my Fuji camera software. I wouldn't worry about it. Windows just wants to warn
you that it is not made exactly for Windows XP. Try it anyway, you can always uninstall it if it doesn't work.

I suggest going to the website of the camera and look up the specifications for it. It should tell you the computer requirements for installing the software. If you find the information, but not sure if you meet the requirements, feel free to e-mail me and I can help you search your computer to see if you meet those requirements!

Hope this helps!

Probably won't cause a problem but your safest bet is to go to IBM website and download an updated driver.

Go ahead and try it, but make sure to have all your stuff backed up and create a restore point, before you do it.
