I love tennis, have always been a fan and playing it since I could remember. I play as recreational sports, not professionally. My question is, I would like to get my daughter jto play the game professionally, how do you go about getting sponsorship and coaching. Serious answer please. My daughter is 4 years old and she's been expose to tennis since she was born. She likes it alot and can hold the racket and hit the ball. I'd like her to consider it seriously when she's 5.

Easy there Pops!!! Don't be like Steffi Graf's father or the Williams sisters father. Let her grow up first.

You most definitely can go pro if you have your mind and heart set on it! However, your financial problems won't just disappear. Try taking up a job to save extra money. Do extra chores, babysit, or stuff around the neighborhood to make some more money. At school, take classes that are absolutely important and drop the rest of them. Since you can't afford private lessons right now, practice by yourself......take along a friend who's willing to help out. Watch online tennis videos and learn from them. Along with all this, I would still advise you to work hard in school and achieve excellent grades......just in case, your pro career doesn't work out. There's always college tennis and its really fun as well. Good luck! =)

Its great that you have dreams like this for your daughter, but, is it what she wants? Perhaps you should wait until she is 5 like you planned and ask her if she would like to learn to play.
Getting her a coach or joining a tennis club would be something you would have to look into right away. If your having trouble finding a coach then you could search over the internet or ask at a tennis club. Also, as she starts to develop her tennis skills and gets better she could enter tournaments.
Playing tennis for school is also a could way to get noticed by professionals and this could hopefully be an avenue for her to get sponsored.
But, just remember that your daughter has to want this dream to make it happen. Don't push her if its not what she wants for herself!
Good luck and i hope to see your daughter playing in grand slams one day!
