Hi Guy - I've used Expedia.com several times to book local and international flights. I've found that it gave me better prices than Orbitz or travelocity. Also, you can try actual airline's websites (such as AA.com or ual.com - united). And for hotels, i just went on the hotel websites and booked there - they give you the best rates online!! omg www.hotwire.com is the absolute BEST! ive gone on many trips back home to new york and booked my flight/hotel/car on here and got the BEST deals i could find.. i checked many other sites and this one was by far the best.. hope i helped!
