My Conservative friends don't talk about Rush anymore...they talk about Shawn Hanitity and some guy name Savage. Did Rush lose influence with the Conservatives?

Yes, I think he is getting a little burned out. I think he is so one sided...ultra conservative that he is not interesting to listen too.
It was funny at first to hear him talk about "brains on loan from God" or other such self promotions..he is so full of himself.
Shawn Hanitity and others have a more realistic slant on the national and world scene. I like O'Reilly too, but I listen to a lot of different people even if I don't agree 100 % with their viewpoint

Yes, I think Rush has lost a little steam, due to the years of hard work he has put in. Rush was/is on a mission but also he knew to be the influence he is today, he had to also be an entertainer.....and a great one he has been, but it has definitely taken a toll on him.

It quite typical for famous people to finally fade before those with a new picture. Nothing bad about that. Rush has made what radio talk is today. Thank God for him, he has a legacy that many would love to have. God bless Rush and for all he did for America

Hasn't he pretty much always been full of steam? You know, hot air?

I hope that finally some of the smarter conservatives are waking up to the hypocrisy. I mean, how can they be all for family values and abstinence when listening to a thrice divorced man with a pocketful of Viagra?
