DVD RW - can it be played in a + DVD player?

If I use a minus DVD, and finalize it. Can it be played in a + DVD player?

Check your player manual. The majority of newer dvd players can support both Plus (+) and Minus (-) formats.

I won't ask how you got your unique name.

About 90 percent of DVD players will play +R (finalized) and -R

The only way to know for sure is to put a DVD in it and try it.

I have only seen one that wouldn't play +R so your odds are pretty good.
