I have to constantly pee, and when I do only a little comes out. If I don't have to pee, I still get the urge, and my pee smells.

You probably do have a Urinary Tract Infection & left untreated can make it worse. Try Azo-Standard...it's an over the counter medicine that relieves the discomfort quickly & also contains iodine, which is in most the antibiotic treatments given by a dr. Just be sure to eat something with it EVERY TIME you take a dose, or you will get nauseous & the vomit will be bright orange, and stain your mouth. (true story). Be prepared for kool-aid orange urine (so clean your toilet after going & wear underwear that you don't care about), drink plenty of water & cranberry juice.
There is also a version of AZO-Standard that has a cranberry supplement. I used to get these all the time & this OTC treatment was faster and less painful than going to the e.r. and getting a cathedar, then paying for expensive antibiotics.
Hope you get some relief, soon...I am truly empathetic!

Go to the doctor's and get a urine test done. They will be able to tell you whether or not you have a UTI or bladder infection.

I feel the same way and went for a test on Friday. I should know sometime this week.

If you do, they'll give you a prescription for some antibiotics.

cranberry juice (not the ocean spray brand , but the one from the health section) helps prevent an infection
if theres an infection and left untreated it can back up in to your kidneys, you need an anti biotic

your doctor will need a urine sample to determine if you have a UTI but Id say you do

Sounds like you do. Be sure to drink plenty of water! You need to flush it out of your system. They make over the counter products now, however I suggest calling your doctor. Usually if you give them all the symtoms on the phone, they will phone in an antibiotic for you to your pharmacy. That will get rid of it in like two-three days.
