Huh? I am not sure what your asking. Do you think they get paid too much? Yeah your right. Maintaining two homes, an office, staff, etc. is like so NOT expensive!

Although some of them have had regular jobs at one time I do think what you are saying is accurate.
Instead congressfolk should be given a staff, an office and a wage which is the average wage of the district or state they are from. When the people in there area get a raise the congressperson gets a raise. They should get minimal insurance such as that many Americans have, but they should have to spend at least one year without any insurance.
maybe then the god&*mn GOP could pass aminimum wage law without 90 plus amendments to help there rich cronies.
Unfortunatly we wold never get anyone to run under these conditions.

They get paid too much, at least some of them do. Some deserve every penny, others should be sued for stupidity. Im going into politics, I promise that I will have better things to vote for than raising my paycheck. Servant of the people. In order to lead, you must serve.

If you are saying that they think that they are above living like everybody else, then you are correct on most counts. Of course there are exceptions. i personally think that they should make minimum wage. and that if they think that they need a raise,then the members of the military should be the ones to vote yes or no.

true as they keep increasing their own benefits! They should be performance based salaried or made to live on the average wage with the average benefits of their constituents
