I have before. My mother warned me about it while I was washing my dishes. I was like mama I know what I'm doing trying to play it cool. Well, next thing I knew when I was finished washing the dished I went to the bathroom and saw my shirt in the mirror! A perfectly nice looking shirt ruined by my all time rival in household cleaners. Lol. Over the years I've gotten nice clothes ruined because of it.

No..........No.... Such a waste for your fav clothes. why are you guys using bleach in your dishes? Do you know of its toxic effect? I don't even use bleach in my laundry. My daughter used to buy Tide w/ bleach; until i warned her. There are cases of T-cells suppression with the regular use of bleach.

Normally, T-cells are the immune system's assassins, killing invading microbes and the cells they infect. Therefore, when your immune system is compromised, you open yourself to bboth bacterial and viral infections. such as the common colds. or the flu.

Use Dawn dish detergent. It cuts the grease effectively and it's gentle on your hands.

About your clothes you can not reverse the bleach damage esp for the discoloration or the colors running or the holes. You could try tie -dying to blend the colors.

Next time, listen to Mama. She knows best. Wisdom only comes with age and experience! You learn your lesson the hard way. Yhe only bleach you really should use are those spray ones for toilet cleaning.

hahaha....of course. my sweats wouldn't be sweats without them.
I am constantly bleaching my bathroom and kitchen and no matter how hard I try to not get some on me...there always seems to be a little splashback.
Although, over the years I have learned to use my already bleached clothes to clean in or just wear white sweats.
