It is possible that you are an elf incarnate.
Check out the book by Doreen Virtue called 'Healing with the Fairies'. It talks about being an 'incarnate'. You might find some useful information.
If you are asking a serious question, then I don't know enough to give you a full out answer. I've read about incarnates in that book "Healing with the fairies". Maybe start there, and see where your search leads you.
Chances are if you are an elf incarnate, you will have simple traits which are known to 'elves'... as an example, if elves are good at gardening, then you could very well have a green thumb. Not elf traits which are magical, as traits like that are not so common on our plain of existence.

depends on your defination of elf. I thought you were talking Lord of the Rings. If you are actually serious about this you should research the original elves from nordic mythology. Then decide if you want to think that you are an elf.
In my opinion, elves don't exist, but I don't mean to burst your bubble. It is fun to fancy these things as long as the line between relality and imagination does not get blurred. But if you want to say when someone talks to you about your stature, "My ansestors were elves" then that would be fun.
