The Maya's "Long Count" calendar cycle ends on Dec 21, 2012. They predicted great flooding at that time, in the "Dresden Codex", one of the few books from the Mayan libraries that escaped destruction by the Spanish. You should "google" that date. You'll get lots of information. That date seems to be well triangulated with the predictions of other religions around the world. It would even be another predictor of the sea level rise attributed to "Global Warming".
This is one theory that has a lot of people thinking. Maybe that's why some politicians and world leaders don't seem to give a flip about the future. There isn't much future left!
As for me and my family?, we are going to be living in the mountains, above 3,000 feet.

It's probable that all of us will end before the world does so what difference does this make to us? When you can no longer feel the sun on your face, the wind at your back or smell a flower, hear a beautiful bird song or a babbling brook or touch something beautiful then what matters if the world still exists or not?

I dont think the world will end, maybe in billions of year, but i could tell the day that you die is the end of the world for you

In 5 Billion years - the Earth will be swallowed up by the sun as it expands into a Red Giant. It could be today, tomorrow, next year or 1000 years for us humans. All bets are off.

in 2012 i watched this show and it had these phycic poeple that dies a long tme ago that predicted a bunch of stuff in the future that actully happened.... so its sad but there you go
