I am an 8th grader, and a girl. I have to say that i love to go school shopping!! Everything is new and cool and there is just something about it that makes me love it, but i don't know. I have never ordered online, yet if i did wouldn't it be even more expensive because of shipping?

I am a parent. I prefer to shop in store. Where I go, there are 2-3 store very close together. What is sold out or over priced in one you go to the other. These trips are worked in to other necessary shopping. So I'm not wasting gas or time just for that. On line you have the convenience. But there is the wait time. Sometimes things are out of stock. USPS,UPS,FedEx deliver at certain times and cost for delivery. If a product is lost there is a hassle. RA fro returns. You can shop for school items when you are already out doing your regular shopping. But if you are asking is school shopping fun. I'd have to say when you have young kids there is the enthusiasm of school and picking out the items with them. Yes that was enjoyable. But once they are in 4th grade or so on its same old stuff. Then i can give my husband the list. LOL

I'm a gal and a student. I think it's fun to go shopping for all the school supplies. You get t choose what all you get while you take in that new-school-year, fresh-notebook-type smell. LOL! I also like to think about the school year in this time, and put everything into my backpack to make sure it all fits well.
Yeah, I know I'm weird!

parent..it is fun...less now with the high school list but prefer to buy at local office supply store...get one list on first day then second list on second day and need supplies on third day so no time for order/delivery from an online source.
