The real trick is to get rid of the odors. Not just mask them for a while. Make some sachets (little hanging pillows) for your closet, drawers and inside your laundry basket.
You will want to use a material that powder won't easily leak out of. Put zippers or draw strings on them in order to be able to empty them easily. Fill them with BAKING SODA it because it absorbs ordors. THEN spray with Febreeze or light your scented candles. It will work!!!
Make sure that the scents are completely absorbed before adding a new scent to the air. The candle is better in this situation because you won't want to have the baking soda absorb the scent of the Febreeze also.
The sachets are only good until they start to smell or until the room starts to smell again, which should be about 4 to 6 weeks if you use 1- 4" X 4" pillow per 10 cubic feet of space (or one pillow the size of a 1/2 box of baking soda). But the febreeze will have to be used once a day and/or a candle lit.

CANDLES will burn the smell so i suggest you keep doing that. ALSO you should burn INCENSES...they have alot of senses
TRY arm and hammer BANKING SODA boxes where your clothes are... they make a huge difference in refrigerators so they might work in your clothes if you have a few.....ONLY 50 cents.........
USE wall plug-ins......
OPEN your windows daily & mostly when your mom cooks (buy screens so bugs dont fly in) to freshin your room up and keep the odor from staying in your room
ANOTHER suggestion, air purifiers, they are not too expensive im sure you can find them at walmart under, they have small plug-in's which are under $20 and stand-up versions w/cord for a little more
You said you have tried everything.....use ALL of the things you have used in the past and new suggestions and I am sure your room will be smelling great in no time!

Febreeze does work wonders. You might have your carpet shampooed because the stink might actually be in the carpet fibers. You could try getting a covered laundry basket for your clothes, so they aren't out and giving off that worn used dirty smell. Candles don't always work to eliminate odors. Concentrate on buying products that "odor elimiators" not just coverup scents or smells. Try washing your blankets and comforters, even replacing your pillows. Place good smelling dryer sheets in each of your dresser drawers.
Hope this helps!

Febreeze is the best thing on the market for freshness. In addition, take one day to really clean your room. Strip the bed and wash your sheets using a cup of bleach along with the detergent. Make sure to use a scented fabric softener like Downy. Then clean your baseboard with 409 and dust all of your furniture. Vacuum or mop to finish it off. Maintain this routine weekly and spray with Febreeze in between. You should be odor free and have a fresh room. (And where ever the litter box is...make sure to scoop daily and to change the litter once a week for freshness.)

Personally, I dont' like those sprays including fabreeze. I really don't like the fragrance sprays and don't think they really work to get rid of the smells - just covers them up. I found a product that I've stayed with for years and recommend it to everyone who now love it. It's actually a little carbon odor absorber found in kitchen stores and kitchen gadget sections called FRIDGE IT. It is a little purple cube with a carbon filter inside that really, really works and for a long time. In a bigger room, I use several hidden around the room to get rid of musty and bad odors. Completely fragrance free. Of course, I also use these little things everywhere else including good enough to use in my refrigerator which used to really smell - but not anymore. I have been so pleased with this product and now use it under sinks, near trash, my RV, etc. I've tried other products including messy baking soda and they just do not work as well. Can buy in kitchen gadget sections of stores like Walmart and Linens and things. Maybe also on web? Worth trying. Really works.
One more thing. This product is excellent for litter box. Just hang it right on box and no more smell. I have cats and I know.

Try to spray some vinegar, after it drys, the smell goes and remove any other odors, than mix water with laundry softener ( my is Lavender) and spray again in the room. It will feels as everything has just been cleaned and fresh. By the way, don't forget to keep yours room's door to prevent the flux of air and therefore, the odor.
Sometimes, I mix my favorite perfume with water and I spread on my bed. It dries fast and leave a "customize" smell, but the laundry softener, is still my favorite, not only because its cheaper but because it gives a cozy sensation.
PS: Try mixing hot water with the laundry softner before you spray it in the room.

I agree with other person who recommended the Fridge It product. So much better than having to spray every few hours. I've also used Fridge IT and have friends who rave about it as well for just about any odor problem. No fragrance, no sprays and works better. That's what I'd use. And, after reading the other answer, using it for the litter box is a great idea.

You've already gotten alot of great answers on this one:) The one thing I would suggest though is...Try and keep a window and/or door cracked open and an exhaust fan running whenever Mom is cooking. Whenever someone is cooking something, especailly frying something, it's almost impossible to keep that smell out of your clothes & hair. That OUST is suppose to remove odors unstead of just covering them up, but I haven't tried it yet.
Good Luck!
