You should scan your computer a few times for viruses or trojans which sometimes take over a mouse and other things. If that is the source then deleting the viruses will solve the problem.

or maybe you need to reinstall your mouse driver again.

also remember that lazer ''mice'' are more sensitive than the other kinds of ''mice'', so they hardly need much of a touch to move too far.

I have seen this in quite a few laptops. You may try to entirely remove the mouse and Driver and re installing it, don't forget to reboot with each step. Get it,? Remove= reboot and reinstall = reboot. How ever you might find that the external mouse and the pad mouse, internal is interfering with the laser mouse.

On the more technical side, the laser mouse is completely "solid State" means that there are no wheels or optic disks. It is Possible that the internal IC "Electronic Controller has gone bad" Once left in a no motion state the chip fails and the mouse erroneously tells the system that it is scrolling across the screen.

Your mouse may have contracted Horizontal Scroll Dementia. :0 :) :) Just Jiving :)

I surely have an identical concern (mine is creeping in the direction of a teddy inspite of the shown fact that) every time i'm no longer utilising the mouse I purely turn it the different way up and go away it there. that prevents the shifting. Lame restoration besides the shown fact that it works!

Maybe its haunted?
Whoever makes your mouse probably has a website and more than likely has updated drivers for the thing.

Either your mouse is going bad or you have some kind of nonmalicous virus.
