What's really 'trendy' this season is sweater dresses, long shirts/tunics, leggings/tights, larger purses, layering pieces, belting tops, ankle or equestrian boots, skinny jeans/pants, flats, plaid/tartan, cardigans, uniform wash jeans, wooly socks worn with sandals/flats, vinatge-inspired pieces, subdued colors (grays, blacks, creams, browns, and navys)
Just remember that you don't always have to do all the trends at once. My advice is to take the current trends to incorporate them into your own style. Don't be afraid to tweak a trend to suit your personal style. Good luck!
