The Swedish migration board might give you some good tips:

Most people in Sweden speak good English and most authorities are supposed to have written information in English and English speaking staff. But doing everyday things like shopping in a supermarket might be harder if you don't know the language. So it would be a good idea to try to learn some words and take a Swedish course as soon as you get here.

When it comes to jobs and you prefer the ones there you can speak English it's better to contact the companies you have in mind directly than to go through employment offices. If you can't find those jobs, you might have to go with something that requires less education, skills, qualifications etc until you've learned the language or found the right opening for a English-speaking position. I know some English-speakers that work as English teachers while looking for other jobs.

It's hard to know what to answer more for the question on what you might expect here, since you don't tell more about yourself or what aspects that might interest you. But I hope you'll settle just fine. Welcome.

Most Swedes speak English, but try to learn the language anyway; at the very least some polite expressions, before you go. We English speakers are lazy arrogant bastards. Learning the lingo works like magic for making friends, and your stay there will be much more interesting. I've met English-speaking expatriates who've lived in a country 20 years without learning the language. My son studied in Sweden for a year and he's now fluent in Svenska. It's opened a whole new world for him.
