Well, unless we invade Pakistan to go get him, no. He's very probably in a border region only partially controlled by Pakistan. So sending troops to Afghanistan will only help the problem with the Taliban.
These guys are in it for the long game, Mr. Bush whatever you may think of his capacities correctly stated that it is a war that will last 10-20 or more years but the invasion of Iraq was / is at best a dangerous distraction.
A proper policing of Afghanistan until the Afghani forces can come up to speed and exersize some national cohesion might seem a worthwhile exersize but in the last 2500 years many have tried and nobody has ever succeeded. Unfortunately, the last people whom came close to success were the Mohguls earlier the Mongols who basically destroyed (in the biblical sense) several cities which presented resistance along the silk road to ensure they didn't cause any future problems for the Khanates.
The real trick to winning the war will be finding a way to convince our "allies" that it in their and our best interest to work peacefully with the Islamic world towards common goals, Being respectful of the islamic world and removing our military presense from the greater "umma" would essentially defang Al-Qaeda in promoting more attacks against the US, but strong stances are required with our allies on their vital interests but ONLY as long as OUR interests are being looked after, otherwise our allies aren't really helping and probably shouldn't be our allies. Unfortunately our "allies" in the region and some of our political thinkers (neocons in particular) are anathema to this idea.
Of course to those affected by 9/11 directly this is a genuinely hard choice but ultimately many will hopefully view it as the logical choice.

I dont imagine bush needed iraq although the neo cons took the time table off him. his dad lost his second time period because he didnt bypass previous the un mandate lower back in ninety one so the neocons stabbed him interior the lower back. chainey and rumbsfelt are a sinister pair who also helped convince nixon that the U.S. became the evil empire even as genuinely it became bankrupt and absence of life with none help from the U. S.. in the experience that they'd stayed and had a perfect software then the present complications in afghanistan and pakistan may be somewhat a lot less stressful. as time-honored regardless of the actuality that they stick a non prevalent crony in to rule although the reality is they many times thieve as a lot as they could be able to because they recognize they're going to be kicked lower back out again asap. in iraq they ought to have left in the recent day yet employed the military on a respectable salary to save the peace and reconstruct the country. they might have paid all and sundry 8k a three hundred and sixty 5 days it is a good salary and it ought to nonetheless were less expensive than the present bill.
