The other day at a stop light I saw a passenger in a car wind down his window, peel a orange and throw the peels out on the street. This is no fault of the citrus growers that the peels ended up as trash on the street. Get my point? BTY I did tell the guy he was a pig.

Actually, the people who do smoke who are inconsiderate enought to toss them out should clean it.

I am a smoker and that's why I use an ashtray and dispose of all my waste, including cigarette butts, and paper in the proper trash containers. I keep another bag in my car, empty the ashtray, put all papers in it, then when I go to the gas station, put it in with the rest of the garbage. I detest people who toss out all their trash on the street...including the McDonalds, Burger King and other fast food waste.

As long as morons exist that don't know the difference between "their" and "there", I don't think that cigarette companies should be held accountable for the gross ignorance of the populace that would dictate political correctness. Some fat **** once expressed his displeasure at breathing my smoke in the open air by pretending to cough his lungs out. My advice: Lay off the Krispy Cremes.

No. A company is not responsible for how its products are used or disposed of. I find it odd that we attack cigarette companies and hold them accountable for all sorts of things and overlook the beer companies. Is that because most people are alcoholics?

I don't smoke. Or drink BTW.

I'm a non-smoker and I have to clean the mess up, it seems like all the time. I know it is not the companies fault for the lazy idiots throwing them out and catching the forests and prairies on fire , but they can help like having butt waste disposals . Like you must turn in 20 butts for a pack of cigarettes or pay a fee. lets say $1.00.

No, the consumer buys the products.
Streets should be kept clean by the towns and highway departments, they get paid to do this.
make a complaint at townhall about the streets, they will
come out and clean em.

And liqueur companies the beer cans, and fast food outlets the bags and cups?
It's not the manufactures, it's the inconsiderate pigs who choose to throw their trash anywhere it's convenient.
