The Cure was a really good band in the 80's. Had some decent songs and the look was good.

The Cure was an excellent band back in the day. Used to dance with the hotties at the clubs in LA

Didn't know they were still around. I had The Head on the Door, which I really liked, and I had a roommate in college who was really into that band. I remember liking that album, though I can't remember any specific songs from it. And on Staring at the Sea, I really loved the song "Lovecats," and I hated "Killing an Arab." My girlfriend at the time thought I was selling "Killing an Arab" short because I didn't realize it was about the book The Stranger by Albert Camus, but I did realize it and I still didn't like the song--I kind of felt like the songwriter (Robert Smith, I think his name was?) didn't get at all what Camus was trying to say.

They were my favorite group when they were together. I loved the Cure and still do, especially the lead singer, Robert Smith. I am so sorry that they are not together. I saw at a concert and they were soooooo goooood. I have all their stuff. Robert Smith, by the way, also did a duo on a CD (long ago) called, "The Glove". It's pretty good. Check it out if you are a Cure/Robert Smith fan.

songs such as Lovecats, they are not really doing much these days though tried a comeback but it's all gone quiet. Shame they were good

The only song that I ever truly liked of theirs was on "The Crow" soundtrack. That song freaking rocked donkeys balls!!!!
