i go down the local park and people avoid coming near me and my dobe! why are they doggist or breedist!!! lol all my dobe would do is lick you to death!!! he is such a soft @ss lol right now he is cabbaged out in front of the patio doors chasing cats as he is dreaming! he is the same as any other dog he just forgets how big he is!!!!

DOBIES RULE!!!! I raise RED & FAWN DOBIES--I am not a kennel owner--I have 5 Dobies an they are HOUSE dogs(shhhhhh) they don't know they dogs!! I have raised them for many years an they are extremly loving-kind-faithful companions, but are also extremly protective of what they consider their family--including my horses--I live waaaayyyy out in the country an haven't locked a door in years!! Very unusal now days!! My husband has worked nights for the past 12 years and i have never had a scared night alone with my dogs--If i hear something unusual outside-I just let 3 of them out an keep 2 in the house--never had a break-in or anything stolen either!! The bad things said about DOBIES are not their doing, but the ignorance or stupidity of people!!! My DOBIES seem to be more attached to me because i am with them all the time--They love my husband, but they are my dogs!! DOBIES will choose their person if given a choice--they like some people better than others and are always an excellent judge of character --they are never wrong about people--they always know if you have a good heart or not!! To have a DOBIE is to have a very protective part of your family--they are not yard dogs, but house dogs an need to be with their people!!LOVE MY DOBIES!!--TO ECKY BOY--My DOBIES live 10 to 14 yrs--that is OLD in dog years!!--By the way--I have 3 males an @ 2 females--the males are by far the most loving!!

Why would you report someone just because they hate Dobermans? That is a nasty thing to do. Do you really believe the whole world should bow down to you and like the same things you like. Hitler, Stalin and many other dictators, murderers and torturers have adopted the same narrow minded attitude.
I hate dogs in general because they have such disgusting habits. I particularly dislike dobermans because when kept by ignorant owners they can be vicious and very dangerous dogs that maim or kill children. It is a fact that many dobermans are kept by ignorant owners.

They are wonderful dogs, very loving and affectionate and will give their lives for you if necessary (not that I would want my boy to do that!)
I read a book on the care and training of Dobies and, in the book, the author referred to them as the 'noble breed'. He also said that male Dobies tend to bond with women and female dobies with men.
I think that people who don't know about them tend to confuse them with Rottweilers, which doesn't help their image.

they do not live to a ripe old age. As they get older they always seem to have "issues". You never see an OLD Doberman.
At one time they were favoured by "the wrong type of person" but thankfully THEY all have rottweilers now.
Dobermans are nice dogs, they can have nice personalities.

When I was alot younger, my family had a doberman and he was very protective of us and our home but he was very loveable also.
I would own one again when I have enough room and they are great watch dogs also. In my opinion they are faithful to any owner wether male/female.

Terrified of them. When I was five, one ran into our yard and bit me in the leg. I was just sitting there playing, I didn't even know he was coming. I like German Shepherds.

I've had three of them all females and they were great dogs. They were smart, brave, and good guard dogs, but big puppies playing.

I love Dobermans, they are very loyal and good companions! I wanted to get one but my hubby didn't want too big of a dog so I got a smaller dog (I would have got a mini Doberman but they were too expensive).
