After dinner at a restaurant, my 16 yr old brother (w/ permit) decided to be cute and cool and pulled up into the handicapp parking (w/ out any of us knowing that he was going to do so because he only said he was going to get his books) to pick us up bc it was cold and bc my 80 yr old grandma too. We had guests that night & I insisted on driving, so I forced him to step out of the driver's seat. I was about to pull out of the handicapp parking when a police showed up & asked to see my license. He issued me a parking ticket ($250 handicapp) & told me I can appeal in court for it. My brother was lucky his a*s was saved by somebody who actually HAS a license (the dumba*s was ungrateful about it too). So my question is..appeal or not appeal? Will I win? We were barely parked there for 1 min & the cop pulled up. If he was my son I'd forbid him to get his license for at least 6 months after his 17th birthday..jerk. Also, what's the penalty had he been caught? Also will I get points for this?

I would appeal it. Be honest with the court, and maybe they will not fine you, but they may not allow him to get his license when he's supposed to. I don't know about the point thing. The worst thing that could happen is that you have to pay the fine.

it is my first bypass to right here, and if what your all asserting is genuine, then Yahoo could could face some discrimination questions. Yahoo knows whose doing the repetitious reporting, it has to bypass into some considerable information financial corporation someplace. The harasser(s) needs to be addressed. 4 your all information, I do checklist, yet on condition that its severe, and definite, i bypass on the different sections like in females's wellness, and characteristic reported lots of of posters already, and characteristic basically been doing Q's & A's an exceedingly couple of minutes. females's wellness is ridiculous. youthful boys or very immature adult males will post off subject count solutions that are designed to demean the female poster, definite that i'll checklist that. faith. somebody will ask a right away question, and a poster will write something off subject count and viciously assault or mock that poster using fact of a distinction in theory structures, definite, i'm going to checklist them. i'm not stricken by way of petty stuff. in case you all experience your being singled out, per risk you all could jot down a letter to Yahoo.

I'd appeal this one. Two hundred fifty bucks? Give them your story and if the judge doesn't dismisses it he'll most likely knock the fine down.
I appealed a lousy $15 dollar ticket because the meter wasn't working. The judge was so shocked that I came in to protest it (I was in the neighborhood) that he dismissed it. Good luck.
(You shouldn't get points for this. Just moving violations, but each state is different).

You could try to fight it but, I really dont think you will win. No matter how long you were parked there. You were parked in a handi-capped spot which is intended for them. That is the reason they are marked. I'm sure it was a mistake but none the less you were in the wrong.
