Oh, hell no! My apartment has been broken into twice already. Once they guy kicked in the window gate and the other time a guy picked the lock on my front door. I actually came home at noon and walked in on the guy going through my dresser drawers. Even when I was growing up in a small town, we locked all the doors since people used to sometimes break into houses that were at the end of long driveways in the woods since they were hidden from view. People should always lock their doors.

yeah, our town is pretty safe, even though we lock our doors anyway. we live in a really quiet and safe neighborhood, where most people are rather wealthy. it's very quite, and kind of boring sometimes, but it is peaceful, so i don't think any one would rob your house if you left the doors unlocked.

Not in a million years. I remember when I was a kid we use to leave our doors unlocked and our cars unlocked all the time.

yes, but I live out of town and have dogs that sound way meaner than they are and they are in the house. If I lived in town though, I would feel safe enough to do so as it is a smaller town.

I sometimes forget to lock my doors, but not on purpose. I feel pretty safe out here in the country though.

No. No way. I live much too close to CBD Sydney. We don't even leave the balcony doors unlocked.
