Depends on which tranquilizer. Promethazine is a horse tranquilizer, that is also used on humans for anti anxiety, and bronchio dilator, and also helps with nausea. Ketamine is illegal to use.......extremely serious consequences could incur if used.

Depending on the dose, anything from feeling woozy to a quick death from respiratory and/or heart failure . A full horse-size dose would most likely kill you. Tranquilizers depress muscle movement, including your heart and the muscles that control your breathing. A horse is upwards of 10 times the size of an average human. What calms them would likely kill you just because everything stops. IV injection (into the vein) is the fastest way to get a drug to work IM (in a muscle) is slightly slower. An IV dose of horse tranquilizer in a person would probably cause almost instantaneous death.

Why the hell are you wanting to shoot this stuff up?

I'm a retired vet and know from very early life experience that not only will most kinds of anaesthesia made for horses will knock you on your butt. I put a syringe in my coat pocket my 1st year in practice and when I bent down I got stabbed by the needle and injected about 10 cc of ace into my leg. It went totally numb and the next thing I knew after I vomited I passed out. Large quantities can kill a human but most small doses will make your vomit or have diarrhea while others will make you dizzy and pass out.

It can kill you. 1) it is more concentrated and 2) it comes in a larger dose. It is illegal for someone to posess this stuff unless they are a licenced veterinarian, and vets ARE NOT allowed to just give it to a person to give to their horse. The vet has to use it on the horse themselves. Don't even think about it unless you want to kill yourself or cause serious brain damage.

The only way I know that you can get ahold of horse tranquilizer is through a vet. And its Ilegal for a regular person to have it.My old horse vet's wife was nuts! she got ahold of his horse Tranquilizer that he used for working on animals and It killed her!

Ketamin is used on horses with a license. It is illegal for a person to use on another person because you have to be a licensed professional to know how much to administer to a person in order not to kill them. The medical health profession uses them on people as an alternative medication to sedate a patient with sensitivities. However, ILLEGALLY it can be used as a potent form date rape drug that can render a person conscious enough to witness a violent crime done upon them but cannot physically defend themselves or speak. There are others who abuse it on themselves too. Can be fatal is misused...

Im not sure if its illegal ,but horses are much much larger than humans and traquilizers are dangerous to us. Because they have stronger chemicals.

that will mess you up bad it can kill you have had friends take them and its not a good thing be safe don't take it you could become a vegetable and i dint think its worth it i had a vet take it and now he is so f-- up not good vets only give it to people that have horses that need it

I think it would have a negative affect on a person, and I am not sure if is legal to use or not. Let us know though what happens..... if you survive! lol
