because it is a new series, the cost of maintenance hasn't really been well established outside of tune ups, oil changes, etc. most 300s on the road right now are running well. i have driven several of these when i worked for a car rental company and in my opinion, they are cumbersome to drive in the beginning. i find the rear windshield to be too small so its hard to reverse. but like driving any car, SUV or even a commercial truck....after a while you get used to the size and can manage it well.

I have rented a 300 before.

The Chrysler 300 is not costly to maintain. It depends which one you have. If you have the 300C with the Hemi V8, the gas will be expensive, and be more costly to maintain than a normal 300. However, the normal 300 shouldn't be costly to maintain.

I also wouldn't think a woman would find it cumbersome to drive...it is a large sedan, but it's no Chevy Suburban.

i work at a chrysler dealer and we have not seen them in the shop for any warranty work, which means that they have not had any problems right off the bat like other cars sometimes do. the Hemi engine will cost a little more when it comes to getting oil changes and tune ups, but everything else is about the same. thumbs up to the 300, i almost forget they exist because they are never in the shop!
