Evolution is proved beyond a doubt. Have you ever heard of sweet corn (not natural selection, but directed) or antibiotic resistant bacteria (natural) ? Viola! There it is!

No one can predict what will happen any more than we can predict the future. But I can guarantee that a few of my pts. hope that the appendix goes away next, lol!

p.s. try not to mix science and religion. Didn't your mama teach you that?

p.p.s your additional details? What are you talking about?? Please click my link, try to learn the basics and then post back! Thanks!- dd

Evolution does not require belief, only evidence, and the world is crawling with proof that evolution is real.

As for variation within the human species, how do you think different racial groups originated? Had these groups remained separated for a long enough time they would have eventually diverged into different human species.

Fortunately, the races are mixing as fast as they can get naked these days (myself being an avid participant in such biological ecumenism) so the 'race problem' at least will disappear some day.

The key word in your question is "believe." Yes, I do. But nothing is proven, so everything out there is still a theory. There is more scientific evidence that supports evolution as opposed to other theories, & I tend to lean toward facts over emotion. As far as what will happen, evolutionary change as it's currently described takes much longer than a few generations, so you will never see it. To satisfy the creationist theorists, though, regardless of whether or not you believe there was an Adam and an Eve, SOMEBODY had to be the first modern humans on earth - whether they were "created" or simply "evolved"!!

No I don't believe in evolution any more than I believe in gravity, or electricity, or germs, or relativity, or electromagnetism or any other scientific theory. Science is not a question of belief but of evidence. There is more evidence in support of the therory of evolution than there is in either the Newtonian or Einsteinian theories of gravity - but you wouldn't know that.

"say a platypus could not have evolved to a beaver"
Of course it couldn't. A platypus is a southern hemisphere modern monotreme while a beaver is a northern hemisphere modern placental mammal. Neither evolved into the other. What twit said they did?

Mind you it is entirely probable that modern beavers and modern platypodes had a common ancestor - a very long time ago.

Wait, wait, wait. You recognized the existence of Pangaea yet nonetheless tell me earth is approximately 6000 years outdated and there grew to become right into a flood and an arch? You nicely known the glide of continents yet deny evolution? something is broken on your view on fact. Your attitude is inconsistent. a million) Your argument is invalid. diverse species can not interbreed to sort new species. The non threat of interbreeding is what defines a species, what distinguishes it from all different species. 2) Atlantis could additionally clarify the existence of radio waves which have been on no account pronounced interior the bible. 3) Why do you think of that flood waters behave in a various way from todays waters? Ocean waters? 4) Why is there nonetheless bulldogs, if chihuahua progressed from bulldogs? Why are there nonetheless human beings in africa if all of us progressed from a small family contributors of africans some tenthousand years in the past? Why are there nonetheless human beings in europe, if us human beings got here from europe? No, extremely. this is as a results of fact apes did not evolve as an entire. There are orang utans, chimpanzees, bonobos, people and gorillas.

"Believe in evolution" isn't quite right. I don't 'believe' 2+2=4; it's a fact that can be verified many ways. Evolution is what the evidence found in paleobiology and genetics points to, so it is 'proven' as science demands.

Yes, human beings are still evolving and will be different a long time from now. This upsets many religious people who have been told God created us in his image, so they will not accept this is possible despite the evidence.

Are you asking how will humans evolve in the future? This is an interesting question. I have a theory that since the invention of the contraceptive pill, the type of women who fall pregnant most often are those who forget to take it. Following Darwin's rules if forgetful people have more offspring, then the population as a whole will get more absent minded.

Yes I beleive!! However I go to church each Sunday and they don't beleive that, but I am starting to come up with some theories which may have room for both.
