Eldorados are front wheel drive ????

Assuming the cover plate at the rear of the diff is where the fluid is coming from, you will need to change the rear diff gasket. If it is leaking at the wheels, you will have to change the axle seal.
The bolts will have to be removed, and the gasket scraped off. Once that is done clean the surfaces of the cover and diff well, they should be nice and clean (al most shiney). If there is any old gasket material left, then you risk another leak when you are done. When done, find out how much fluid to replace, this is put in through the inspection/fill hole at the front of the diff, near where the drive shaft goes into the diff. As a general rule of thumb, put enough in so wieh you reach in with a hooked finger, it will touch the fluid.

you could probably change the seal or gasket on the differential and that should fix the problem. when you do also use some type of silcone (ask mechanic or someone at auto part store) to help seal it

I guess it depends on where its leaking. I, personaly, would just get a new car...
