Being a Puerto Rican 14 year old, I recently saw a news story about a pair of racist 12 year olds who, sadly, worship Hitler. That story made me wonder what other people think. I went to YouTube, and searched for racism and saw various videos like a group of people who were protesting against illegal immigration in the streets of Santa Monica. I understand this, but when they harassed a man holding a Mexican flag, it bothered me. I searched for racism and Puerto Rican in the searchbox on yahoo, and came across various racist answers against Puerto Ricans saying that either all of us or most of us are lazy. I'm also seeing a question asking "why do Pakistani and indian people smell bad". This makes me sick. If any racists can't contain themselves to answer this question, they can email me for their further complaints against humans. I'd be glad to read and set you straight.

Sadly, there are really many racists. There are more racists outside the Yahoo! answers.

There are racist people everywhere, and to a lesser extent, I think almost everyone has racial perceptions. That's a sad reality of the world. You can stand up to people who say things like that about other races, cultures, or beliefs, but you can't force them to change their way of seeing things.
One thing you can do is to learn what the stereotypes are, and try to learn how and why they became popular beliefs. Learn exactly how and why those stereotypes are not true. Then when you hear a racist statement, you can challenge it on its flaws and maybe educate the person saying it a little bit.
I don't get the think about Puerto Ricans being lazy thing, though. My dad is from Puerto Rico and he's always been one of the hardest working people I've known.

We all understand where your coming from and it is a sorry state of affairs that there is always about 3% of a population that creates most of the problems, they make the most noise and most trouble, but be assured most people are for a better world and try their best to make one,,,hopefully with new technology, medication and better education in the world it will get better..

Yeah, I've noticed some too. On a positive note, perhaps racism is considered so unacceptable/immoral in mainstream society (as it should be), that a relatively unregulated public forum is only place hateful people can express their negativity, and not face personal scorn/social conscience.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Some people are just mean and stupid, but not all are and this makes me happy. I wish we lived in an open-minded world, but unfortunately we don't . Plus, I think it's easier for some people to pick on or hate someone that comes from a different country/religion, etc. from them than admit that they too have problems and are not perfect.

Oh I have definitely noticed all these racists on here. They not only talk about Puerto Ricans but other Hispanics especially Mexicans and Blacks, Middle Easterners,Indians and so on. It makes me so angry but you have to remember these are people who have nothing better to do but hide behind and computer a spew hate. So don't even worry about it. I just report them for abuse when I can.

there are like-minded people inthis world w integrity.Seek them out and make them your company. Others are like an annoying fly you have to swat to keep them from spoiling fresh pure food.
Keep up the outrage but allow the good people and their actions to surround you as well.

this people's brains are not developed, they hate because that is what their parents toughed them. their parents also had underdeveloped brains.
the smell that they perceive as coming from the immigrants of any ethnic background is probably their own stench.
Can you imagine how sad is to live a life of hate?

Excellent question. I don't know why everybody hates each other so much. Do those people buy chocolates in boxes of only one type? Don't they know what they are missing out on?

They wack, they jus use the Internet to talk sh*t becuz they know we can't see them, what we gon send a virus to them, lol. But u see them in real life, they don't say nuthin, they don't even look you in the eyes.
