My husband is a Cancer, I am an Aquarius. We are 18 years apart in age. I am older. No one ever suspected there was such a great age difference because I am very youthful looking. We were married 10 wonderful years. We had a new house built and went on 2 cruises every year. I thought everything was perfect. He never gave me an indication that he was unhappy, except he hated to go to work. He got caught up with the wrong people and started cheating on me. My question is this...was our relationship doomed from the beginning, because our signs are opposite, or did he just feel he wanted to be around girls his own age? He never let me know what the problem was, refused to go to counceling, he only stated he wanted to be "on his own now" He said he met someone and they "made a connection" He also said he "needed space".( I hate that phrase)
PS Everyone who knew us was totally shocked that he moved out. They thought we had the perfect marriage. So did I. What do you think?

I know you are looking for reasons as to why your marriage did not work. Astrological signs have little to do with it. Your husband was too foolish and immature to make a full commitment to you. You deserve better. It's time to move on. Best of luck to you!

This has nothing to do with what happens and dooming of anything... There are no perfect people so how can there be a perfect marriage ever? You relationship was not doomed from the beginning... He made wrong choices while being married to you ... That does not mean that it was doomed from the start. I hope you get help and counseling for this and that you will someday be able to move on with your life and that someday you will find a man who loves you for you that you will be able to marry and spend the rest of your life with....

Well me and my ex-husband were only 4 years apart and we didn't make it. Every marriage is a gamble these days. Signs and age don't have anything to do with it. It's about finding the right person to marry who has the same values as you and will hopefully not change and get bored as time goes by.

Well i had a marriage that was similar he was 18 years older then me which in Chinese astrology it made it impossible to please him. We were not compatible in our signs either so i feel we were doubly doomed. Love is not always enough! This is just how i feel so i do think there is something to it.

Your astrological signs have NOTHING to do with how your marriage will work.
What makes a marriage work is hard work, dedication & COMMUNICATION, honesty and putting each other before yourselves.

ok im 19 years older than my husband i wonder if thats why yours and my husband cheated but they knew how old we were before they married you and i mine claimed he loved me from his heart i bet your husband told you the same thing now i feel like i was used were separated now i thought my husband was happy i guess i was a fool
