This is probably one of two things- gas, which would be the lesser of the two evils of right sided pain that you are explaining, or appendicitis, which is much worse. Since its been happening for a month that would mean a MAJOR case of gas. This could be from a change in eating habits. If you have been eating a lot of low fiber high fat food like fast food this could be why. Nerves have something to do with prolonged IBS(irritable bowel syndrome). You could try simethicone(Gas X), but you really shouldnt wait too long before you go to the doctor. The doctor will more than likely run a series of tests, x-rays and maybe a CAT scan. The CAT scan will be best at diagnosing appendicitis. You really shouldnt wait a whole month for a pain to go away. Good luck.

It can be your gallbladder, pneumonia in your lung, or radiating pain from your appendix which is just a few inches below where you are describing--- you need to see you doctor sooner rather than later, and have him do tests on you and find the answer--the fact that it is a month already and is nonstop means it is not going away--- go see your doctor and good luck honey...........

If you have had is for a month and you have not died then it is probably not your appendix. I have a pain in my right side and they that I had gallstones then they thought my gallbladder is not working to its maxium ability. I later found out is it gas pain and I have IBS. I would not waste you money going to the ER and just go to the doctor asap.

A visit to the doctor is in order. It could be numerous things like a hernia, bruised or cracked ribs, pulled muscle, etc.
Good luck

Pain is the body's alarm. It appears you have injured something. I suggest a visit to the doc.
