Again: in movie theatres, "previews" of up coming movies, were shown BEFORE the main picture showing that day. Then, AFTER the movie was over, the "trailers" were shown of more up coming movies. See: "previews" before......."trailers" after. Why are they all called "trailers" now. Makes no sense.

Actually, only the first movie shown that day would contain previews. The trailers shown after the movie were called trailers because 'like a train' they connected you to the 'next feature'. Back then, there were almost always Double Features and the 'trailers' would show between the movies to give the projector guy time to change and set up the next movie. I guess we still call them trailers because that term has been acceptable and passed down to us from generation to generation. My guess ;-)

i think of it relies upon on the movie; yet I additionally think of that is extraordinarily a strategies forward: i began seeing previews for R.E. 3 lower back in march, and it won't come out until the autumn. i think of they warfare to no longer preview too lots better than 6 months in improve, inspite of the shown fact that. that may no longer some thing i'm certainly specific of, inspite of the shown fact that. : )

All I know is they give away all the plot and twists and show the best parts of the movie, so there's really no point to see it!
