I live about half hour from there, and have a year pass. You have three rides you can get wet on Congo River Rapids, Stanleyville Flumes, and the Waterfall one (sorry can't remember the name). All three you well get soaked on, but the bridge is more fun than the actual ride on the waterfall ride (in my opinon.) Also, there are people who squirt you on Congo, so watch out for them. Make sure you DON'T WEAR WHITE! It really sucks. Trust me on that one.
There are 4 main roller-coasters (Gwazi, Kumba (my personal favorite), Montu and Shreikra), a couple smaller ones which are still pretty good (Cheetah Chase is ultra fun, and Scorpian is good), and the lines for the smaller ones go fast. There are a few alright shows (if you're going to see a show Katonga is the one, its about 45 mins and indoors with Ac.) But it is mostly about the animals. African animals mostly. There are a few attractions that aren't African based which would be the reptiles. But the animals are so worth seeing. If you are staying a whole day, it can be easily filled, and you would still miss some stuff. All I can say is check the weather the day before. Its usually pretty nice once you get there, so I usually suggest shorts and a short sleeved shirt. Also if I may recommend a few things I've learned over the years:
Don't do "Sheikra" at night, its 10 times scarier.
Take the train all the way around, if you don't want to do it all the way around, at least take it from Congo back around to Stanleyville (You'll see it on the map) the whole ride takes about 30 mins for the whole loop, this is only 2/3 so its about 20 mins, but you get to see the whole African plain.
If you are going to take the skyride, take it from STANLEYVILLE, its the short side. The other side will take you at least an hour, this is only a 15 min wait tops.
If you're going to eat lunch there, go to either the Crown Colony House, or the American Theature. The C.C.H. over looks the plains, while the A.T. has a show going on.
If you have kids, let them run around in the Dragonland play place.
Rhino Rally is a good ride to see animals usually. If the water part is open and you don't wanna get wet, don't sit in the back 2 rows, its also fun to be a navagator. So again, if you have kids, depending on the age, tell the people you want them to be a navagator, if they want. Its something they won't forget easily.
Make sure to check out the baby Gorilla, and other baby animals (the Rhino is usually on the train ride.)
Most of all have a good time.
Hope I could be of help. :)

Busch Gardens is alright, but you need to understand that it is more of an animal amusement park with less rides and multiple stores around every corner. Yet I had an ok time there during new years. Everyone waited for hours to ride something that only lasted a minute. I recommend Six Flags more than Busch Gardens.

Bush Gardens is fun they have all the big coasters for adults, some stuff for the family to do together and the kids section. Though there are some rides you get wet on. But that is half the fun of them. the average in Feb is around 72 but walking around in the the sun all day it's going to feel hotter, I would wear shorts and a t shirt. But bring a couple of warmer clothes for your trip just in case a cold front comes thru or something.

I was about 8 or something at the time but I remember it so well. It was so much fun...I went to the Land of Dragons and ran in the fountains. Also my dad took me on my first looping coaster- I think it also went backwards and it was so much fun. It also has cool animals such as the White Tigers, they were so pretty. Also the Stanley Falls Log Flume is killer. I looked at Gwazi and as it made a turn, I saw the posts move so I wouldn't trust it, but the other coasters looked really cool. I would totally go again, especially to ride Sheikhra (I think that's the name).

Have fun on your trip... I sure did. ^_^

it was good :) [but busch gardens in virginia is better] you do get wet on like a third of the rides so don't wear a white shirt. it might be kinda cool there so i would take a lite jacket just keep handy since you'll be wet.

hope you have a great time :)

Lots of walking, beer drinking, extreme rides (like Kumba), one or two great shows, and that's it. This park should rethink urgently about the future, since Animal Kingdom offers entertainment in the same area and it's nearer to Orlando hotels. Maybe a park aimed to elderly people, who don't care falling 13 stores in an elevator, turning the guts upside-down at maximum speed in roller-coasters or shaking inside gigantic mixers.

I haven't been there, but I think you should wait until late March to come down. I live in central Florida, and it is still kinda cool in the heart of winter. (55-70/day, 35-50 at night) I know that sounds warm to northerners, but it doesn't if you're all wet!! And regardless of what you hear up there, water DOES NOT warm up just like that!

The rides are pretty good. I don't recall getting too wet but I do highly recommend the hospitality house where you can get some free Bud Beer with many different types.

Properly the best park after Disney.

The wettest ride is probably Tidal Wave.

Just go in normal clothes but wear a poncho on tidal wave and the rapids or you WILL GET WET!!!!!
