If you listen to her what she says makes sense. And you should NEVER argue with a judge that's common sense. Argue with the judge she can throw your case out. I enjoy watching her she's entertaining

She is not just a TV PERSONALITY she is a former Florida circuit court judge and is the current host of the American television program The People's Court. Milian is the first female judge to preside over the preceding long-running show and the first Hispanic judge to sit on the bench of any English language television court show.Judge Milian spent a year at Harvard Law School as the director of training for the Guatemala Project, responsible for training the Guatemalan trial judiciary, defense, and prosecution bar in investigatory and trial techniques. After Janet Reno hired her, she served from 1984-1994 as an assistant state attorney for the Dade County State Attorney's Office, followed by an appointment by then-Gov. Lawton Chiles to a five-year stint in the Miami County Court in the Domestic Violence, Criminal. and Civil Divisions. In 1999, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush appointed her to the Miami Circuit Court, where she served in the Criminal Division.

So she is in fact a real judge which I noticed some idiot claims she is not. And I am sure she has more credentials then the ones you worked with

Rachel, this Judge is no "real" Judge. Milian is an arbitrator contractually "hired" to decide a dispute. Real judges are elected or appointed by government... Milian's a TV personality who at best can sell a lemon car to the average Joe. She may or may not have true wisdom (her TV "wit" is no proof of wisdom), her intelligence may be limited, but she does indeed posses common wit. A plethora of folks can probably beat her at a REAL legal argument. In all frankness, though, I have not seen her in a REAL court arguing REAL law....But I can assure you her TV wit does NOT indicate true legal intelligence...

P.S. I thought the former NY Mayor was the "judge" in People's Court... And Judy is the famous "Judge" no Rachel?

The deck is stacked - people who argue with Judges get held in contempt of court and get fined or tossed in the slammer for a night or two.
