If your period hasn't truly stopped and the pool water is even chilly, it can give you CRAMPS and stop your period. It is best to wait, unless it is a heated pool.
If you are using a heated pool? Use a tampon. However, remember that the tampon can also take in the pool water, and you can get chlorine inside you. That is not good if the clorine levels are high too.
So, if you are unsure?
I would suggest you go and simply put your toes in. Just visit without getting in the pool. If they ask you why you aren't getting in? Tell them you can't for medical reasons, you don't have to go into detail. If they are your friends they will understand.

Honey, as much as we hate our monthly curse, it's completely unpredictable.
You could start back up since it's only a few hours, or it could be done, and you're free to go.
Honestly, you just have to know how regular you are, and when this happens, is it always happening at the same time as when your period has ended?
You have to make your best judgement, and if you are still worried, then while at the friend's house, you might periodically go to the bathroom to check . . . and if it starts again make your excuses on how you're all "chlorined out" or something so you don't draw attention to it! :)

Sorry but usually i wear a pad even like a day after i am pretty sure its finished. I wouldnt go swimming since you dont wear tampons. You usually need more than a few hours to figure out if ur period is gone, because sometimes it just slows down.

Only your body knows for sure. Buy some tampons and keep them for times like this. I don't use them regularly either. In fact, I only use them when I go swimming and then remove them right afterward. Don't swim in your friend's pool without one if you may still be bleeding. That is not healthy for you nor for the other people in the pool.

You have not mentioned your age. So I assume that you are not a lady leading towards menopause. Yes if it is normal period and your age is below 40 than you should not bother. Go and swim like a fish, nothing will go wrong.

Sounds like it should end in a day or two. I'd wear a pantiliner so you don't ruin your clothes. The same thing happens to me. Nothnig to worry about.
Being a woman = good times ;)

It is up to you, but you should expect there to be a possibility of continuing to bleed a little. If you want to swim I would consider a tampon, but since you said you didn't wear them....There is no way to be sure, you just have to wait it out.

Well it depends if its the day its suppose to end. If it is, then i think it would be safe if you went swimming without a tampon. But up until then, I'd wear a pantiliner.
