My first thought when I read this is this guy who I used to live with. My muffler fell off my car, and I told him it didn't sound any different. He told me that my muffler probably had a hole in it. I said that I didn't know what that looked like. He told me to imagine a muffler. Now imagine a hole. Now, I know this is a stretch, but imagine this hole in the muffler. I was really kind of young at the time though.
