The world will not come to an end, only all living things will come to an end. and it will be at the hands of man. only God can destroy the earth. but man will make it uninhabitable.

Man may end a lot sooner than the world. Climate change, not necessarily caused by us, may do it. Supervolcanoes are a very likely event, or an asteroid ELE (extinction level event) could do the job very quickly.
The world will end as a frozen cinder. When the sun uses up its hydrogen fuel it will expand and burn the world to a blackened chunk of airless waterless rock, then as the solar helium is exhausted, the sun will shrink to a brown dwarf, and the cinder will be frozen solid til the collaspse of the universe back into the promordial monobloc from which creation will begin anew.

Well, the Mayas predicted it will end, or have a massive destruction on December 2012. Its called doom day. Because of pollution rise, natural disasters will end it. Tsunamis, massive earthquakes (San Fransisco ca), strong winds and excessive heat or cold. Wird how they predicted all of this, so long ago.

The earth wobbles about 20 deg's. now because of the moons pull, as the moon's orbit increases and the wobble becomes more like 30 deg's the weather will become to violent for the population to continue..

cool question.
i think a huge meteor is gonna cme crashing down, hit us at such a speed that the people in that area die and earths orbit gets pushed out of place and we hurdle towards the sun.
since the sun is so far away, it takes us 16 months to get close enough to the point where we all burn to death.
but in those 16 months, life is crazy and cool!!! we all do things weve never done before and go crazy!!!

i think that the world will end because of global warming because the ozone layer if opening and it is warming the Earth, which is going to melt the polar ice caps and flood the Earth, in case u havent noticed it already started
