Ok so it's been a week of being single and the feeling of it is starting to take its toll. I feel empty and alone. Missing the companionship I once had with the woman I had loved. The situation between us is weird. We still tell each other we love one another and we say we miss each other almost everyday. Some nights I would stay the night also. I call her and text her as if we had just started going out and she hasn't told me to stop otherwise I would have. The question I'm asking here is... What kind of relationship do we have with each other right now? She is now dating the guy she cheated on me since a month ago. Every time I see her I caress her and stroke her hair. I really want to move on but I don't want to feel life without a partner to see daily. I am still deeply in love with her and I don't know what I really am in her heart.

I was thinking of dating again and hoping to find that special someone to give me the feeling of being needed/wanted. But I don't know if I will love them as much as I love my Ex. I have gotten alot of advice from friends about this and they tell me to let go and move on. But she keeps making me feel loved and wanted. I am getting alot of mixed messages and feelings. I ain't the kind of guy who goes to clubs and bars to meet people. I've been out of the single game for almost a decade. I am in my mid 20's and I don't know how to start dating again since my last relationship literally fell into my lap. Right now I'm still trying to get her back by showing her that I can be sensitive and appreciate her for who she is.

sounds to me like you still love her , and as for her, she is having a hard time letting go of what she is used to having with you, but wants to be with the other guy, she just hasnt let you go yet. Shes afraid it wont work out between her and the new guy , so shes hanging onto you in case , so that she doesnt have to be alone. Not fair to you, shes using you.

If you can close your eyes and picture yourself with her in five years, go get her back and do whatever it takes. If not, i think you owe yourself the right to have someone who loves you in the same way you love them.
Watch out for the sleepers; they can say anything you say to them, but, they never say it first. Seriously dude think....did she ever commit before you did? Would she stick her neck out, or does she only bet on asure thing? Some girls have such good game, it's better than reality. Therein lies the difficulty.

I think you need to let her go. She is stringing you along, having her cake and eating it too. She cheated on you, don't forget that. It is sad you still love her, but you need to end it now before you are hurt even more in the future. There is someone out there for you that will not hurt you or cheat. Good luck!

Ask Jesus to give you the wisdom you need to make decisions about this women. Its not a good place to be when you don't have control of your heart. I suggest you let her be with who she wants, take a little breather, and pray and meditate on
God's word and he will fill your emptiness and give you the answers you need.
