Don't take any of that stuff. Especially steroids. I had a friend who was always drinking that powdered protein stuff and he got bulky for a few months. But then he got lazy and well, he got big lol. Not muscle big but fatty fat fat big. I on the other hand never done any of that stuff. i don't even own a dum bell lol. I just have a nice daily routine. Want to know a secret? Here it is. 1. 30 push ups a day 2. 30 pull ups a day 3. 30 squats a day 4. 30 sit ups a day 50 if you want nicer abs. 5. Run a mile or 2 or just do lots of jump and jacks lol like 500 if you can.
Make sure to stretch properly before doing any of these.

6. this is the most important one lol. Stay away from fast foods. and eat more salads with less ranch dressing hehehehe.

check out my little crazy video :) link below.

Muscle Milk is a good protein, so is On and Pro Complex. creatine is good too...although i dont know if you are kinda young to be taking creatine.

Also, if you want to see results, you have to increase the weight or the amount of reps eventually...your body wont adjust if you keep putting it under the same amount of stress all the time.

Also, real results will come from a weekly routine. That can be 2 times a week or up to 6 (at 15 you should do 3, perhaps MWF). Do 2 body parts per day...For example, work your chest and triceps on monday, your back and biceps on wednesday, and you legs and shoulders on friday.

You will see results...use google to find excercises you can perform with your dumbells...you can do excercises for all those body parts i listed with a dumbell set.

My best advice, since you are 15 years old, is to research this matter as thoroughly as you can. Ask some of your gym teachers or coaches at school (if they look as though they know something about weight training, that is), or consult a professional, certified trainer at a gym (this may cost you $20 to $50 for half an hour of consultation, but it is WORTH IT).

You need to get into a weight-lifting routine that starts you at the point that is right for you in terms of your current strength and endurance, lets you develop a little while, and then gets you on a course toward incremental increases in weight and repetitions. It is VERY difficult to figure out all of this by yourself, and most likely, if you go it alone, you will make mistakes that will cost you a lot of wasted time and may cause injury or at least a lot of unnecessary discomfort.

So my best advice is that you persuade or pay a professional to help you design a program that is right for you. Believe me, getting qualified help is NOT a sign of weakness or ignorance, and talking or working with a professional trainer will give you a lot of confidence because then you will KNOW what you know, not just wonder about what you think. When it comes to weight training, there is no such thing as a stupid question!

The best advice I got from a trainer is this: Once you are in a training program like the one I mention above, what you can "take" is the correct food. You do NOT need to take special, expensive supplements and drink mixes and that kind of stuff (though of course you can if you have the money for them).

The correct thing to do about food intake is this: Eat just a small amount of carbohydrate-rich food about an hour-and-a-half BEFORE you go the gym. This pre-workout meal needs a little time to settle and to start to digest before you exert yourself. Within half an hour AFTER you work out (as soon as possible after your weight-lifting), get a couple of servings worth of high protein food, like a couple of boiled eggs, a can or two of tuna fish, or a few pieces of baked/broiled chicken or fish (not fried -- avoid fried foods of all kinds). If you are vegetarian, then rely on eggs or on beans-and-rice combinations that constitute complete proteins.

Good luck, Sport!

Speak to your Phys Ed instructor, if you can, about what form or technique to use. I do suggest you take extra protein (such as from meat or soy), though you shouldn't need any special drinks unless you need your meals to be portable.

One thing to remember when building muscle is to gradually increase the weight you lift. Lifting the same weight every night may help with tone, but size comes from putting your muscles up against increased resistance.

Also, your muscles need rest in order to repair themselves and grow. I suggest gradually increasing the length and intensity of your workout, but only every other day. Work one day, rest the next. I hope this helps.

P.S. Like the above good people said, please don't be tempted to use steroids. They will mess you up in the long run.

at your age you should be very cautious with supplements. You are better off just supplementing your diet with high protein foods like cottage cheese, chicken, tuna, etc. Also, drink lots of water and to gain muscle mass you have to do heavier weights at lower reps. Another thing most people don't know about increasing muscle mass is that you only need to work out 2 to 3 times a week. The body needs lots of rest for muscles to grow and get larger.

Anything you take will be worthless if you don't lift and eat right. they are called supplements for a reason. they are to be used only after eating the proper foods for a bodybuilders diet. are you eating foods high in protein and the right kinda of fat already? How about instead of looking to supplements to help you, use the money that would have bought that stuff and just go out and buy a steak or something. trust me, its better if you aren't already in good bodybuilding shape.

Humm maybe the problem isn't in what t take but what to eat. In a growing body protien and fat will help. FAT i say yes the fat it self is good to build body mass and protien will help keep the spreed out the energy evenily. But remeber exercise is the most importion in a diet like these. It help build the musculare mass the protien well keep it on and the fat well make sure you have the energy to power it.

Protein shakes are good. Hit up the health food store and buy some Soy milk. That is loaded with protein. I used to drink soy milk in a protein shake.

Take vitamins daily, especially Vitamin C, and maybe Zinc (only with meals). Barley, wheat, anything natural.

Don't do steroids you will turn into a woman.
