Unfortunately if we leave we will leave iraq in shambles and more vulnerable to attacks than before, and the whole mission would be completely counter productive. Yes, it is overdue. The truth is that we rushed into war too fast for one to develop. That tells you something about how fast we decided to go in.

edit: we meaning the nation. It is not Bush overthere by himself with an ak47 and a water bottle over there fighting the war. There are other people involved. Also, while things are not running as well at all now, I do not think that it is fair to pin it all on Bush's shoulders. We had faulty intelligence reports, and many people, including Hillary Clinton herself, based on the intelligence reports that we had, thought war was the right idea. Just because somebody does not have the same opinion as you doesnt mean they are wrong.

Dec 7, 1941 America was attacked with about 2400 causalities. The American people came together and gave 100% to defeat the enemy.
9/11 America was once again attacked with over 3000 causalities and we squabble. We talk about peace with an enemy who has sworn to fight and kill Americans until America has become a Muslim State.
Bush lied, about what? Every major intelligence agency in the free world had drawn the same conclusions that Bush had. The majority of Democrats agreed after viewing the same info.
Bush has done what America has always done after a conflict. Rebuild the country, in this case attempt to rebuild, the same as was done with Japan and Germany.
Maybe everyone would prefer a president who governed by poll without regard for ethics or right and wrong.

I think the peace march is a good thing we should call for them not only in the USA but all over the world specially Iran, we should call for the good people of Iran to stand we the good people of the world and hold antinuclear protest, let's call on our brother in the middle east to stand with us and rally against terrorism, lets stop war in all fronts and we need the help of all the brother and sister of this planet to end it. let's all say it together, "NO MORE WARS" "NO MORE TERRORIST" "NO MORE NUCLEAR WEAPONS" leave in peace my brothers

Long overdue. The question is will it ever make the news? With the kind of news we have today, I can imagine 1 million people showing up and it never making the evening Corporate News Channels.

There's been marches and protests since the start of the war. Some might feel it is a good way to voice their opinion but I don't think it is "overdue." There has been plenty of protesting going on already.

It is protected as free speech but it would be better to show support rather than dissent and hate

Yes. DC needs peace. Are they going to round up the drug dealers, pimps, and other assorted miscreants and ship them to Iraq where they can do some good? In that case, I'm all for it.
