I don't like the rap music that they play today...it is very offensive to women and all they talk about is getting more 'bling bling', fancy cars, more money, selling drugs, having promiscous sex. I did enjoy the rap music from the early & mid 80s though. I am also into new wave, disco, R&B, jazz, blues, oldies, classic rock music genres. I keep telling myself that just because a song has a catchy beat does not mean the message of the song will be acceptable for a Christian to listen to...so I try to be very selective.

I don't like rap, I don't get what they are bleating on about, I play music on a beautiful Keyboard with all the right instruments on it, from written manuscript, and not the rubbish purported to be 'music' ranted out by people that stand so close to a microphone they look like a sharp intake of their next breath they are going to need a hospital life saving team to help them cough it back up.......
They should all take up writing poetry instead, it can still be read out to the masses, and it they have a good rhythm going to it, you might still be able to dance the silly dances along with it.
If you wanna use a microphone, sing to us, I promise if you can sing, we may even like to listen to all that (C)rap..... Tony M

I wasn't aware that everyone was into rap. There appears to be a vast community of people, not into rap, who no longer qualify to be counted among "everybody."

I could care less for "RAP" ugh...i guess they think the only way they can be cool is if they listen to rap..lol..idk.

And anyone who says "rap is CRAP" needs to seriously just stop because thats the stupidest sh*t i've ever heard really, it sounds like a 1st grader made it up.

eh...most ppl i know are into heavey metal and grunge rock and stuff like that...i personally listen to it all but if i must listen to rap it better be psychopathic (insane clown posse, twizted, dark lotus and a few more) underground music

its fun to listen to. rap has the good, the bad, and the ugly that many people relate to [whether they own up to it or not]. i know i do.
