Can SomeBody PLEASE Foster!
Vollunter Quote-The shelter is running out of room for the cats and in their words "won't be able to fulfil our policy" if they can't find foster homes soon. This means our no-kill shelter might just have to make a few exceptions
So, to make more room at the shelter, I have fostered Peaches.-Quote

it is unfortunate...but there are simply too many animals being bred, & not enough suitable homes.

Although this may be controversial, I think sometimes it is better for an animal to be humanely euthanised then to be tortured by cruel humans...

I cannot foster any more animals, but I encourage responsible people to go for it...

already have 2 rabbits 1 cat and 1 dog-all needed homes but no kill shelters are not always the best for if animals not adopted or fostered out then live years in either a cage-if cat or small animal or if a dog in a small enclosure where can sit ,lie down but not much else and although many other dogs-all barking and the noise is deafening- are there there is no contact and too many of these animal the only time there is human contact is when fed and often these animals t can be seen pacing back and forth and back forth in their encloures slowly going insane. Sometimes death is not the worst thing but being caged for years to come surely can't be the best thing..For these animals ,who have no chance of being cared for by a human owner and friend sometimes to quietly pass is better. Since animals go straight to heaven had I a pet and something happened to me if no loving owner could be found would prefer they pass for then with me in heaven.

It is far better that the shelter put them down rather than to have them die on a street from getting hit by a car or from starving to death- they at the shelter do not enjoy this aspect of thir jobs but sometimes a person has to do what he does not want to do! I am so sorry!

Please don't blame the shelter. They didn't ask for all these animals to be homeless. SOmebody has to take responsibility for this cultures abandoned animals. Imagine if every shelter were no-kill, they would cram all the animals they can into cages for life and then turn people away. People would resort to violent killings to get rid of all the unwanted animals.

Well there are some pretty nice pets listed. I'm in the US.

I've fostered cats and dogs before. It is really rewarding. Good Luck

When there are too many stray animals there is no other choice. Especially cats, hate to see them roaming around.
