Well sleeping dreams are what I'm assuming. I learned a way that works for me. I go into a deep meditation and tell my mind what time to wake up and that I'll be very rested and refreshed when waking up,Then I reach out in my heart (I don't know how to say it) and I add emotion to the equation. Emotions like love, serenity, joy are very powerful when combined with deep relaxation or the alpha state of awareness. I often would join my father in dreams before he died and he would also be aware of our mutual dream. Your brain is a tool but you need to tell it what you want.Even it "Can't read your mind" Visualize where or whatever you want and it will come.

Um....theres no way to choose a dream. Choosing is with options. There are no options in dreams. The best way to try to dream about something specific is to think about that during your sleeping period.

u can't really choose a dream... dreams are the products of our subconscience mind... we can't purposely choose what we dream but we do in essence choose ours dreams. whatever our subconscience is centered on (whether we know what it is or not) is the thing we will dream about whether it be obvious (like a nightmare with say.. spiders) or not.

that help at all? i'm not saying i'm an expert on dreams... but its what i heard and what makes sense

sometimes, u just have to get lucky. have you've ever been in a dream, + realized your dreaming, + wake up? well, if u have, next time, dont do it. cause @ that point, u can controll it.
also, thinking about what u want to dream about before u fall asleep may help

Well usually when I think about someone or something for a long time I usually dream about them. But then I again before I go to bed I usually don't think about my grandmother but I keep having dreams about her. And they are always about getting sick and about to die although she is already dead.
