I didn't think it was too brutal at all. Mel Gibson likes to push the limits, but I think it was a great movie and well done, not too brutal at all.

I liked it. The Mayans were historically a savage people. I don't think it was too brutal. We'll never know just how accurate it is, but I think it was a good try.

I was expecting worse when I went to see it. With some people labeling it "blood porn" I was expecting to be repulsed. Although i am probably as de-sensitized as most; I did not cringe at any time during the movie. I actually thought that it was a great movie.

too brutal??not at all. i really liked it. mel gibson movies are pretty darn good. like braveheart...which is an all time favourite

it is great and is true to history the mayans were very brutal
