I am still using one of those traditional heavy weight metallic irons, but I find ironing stains on the flat iron part kinda "ironed in", whats the best way to remove those stains that it doesnt transfer to my clothes?

thx

You can use a razor scraper to clean it or pour salt on a towel and use it to scrub it off or use a metal scrubbie or i hear lemon juice or vinager will work also.

You might want to update this question as you are not being very specific.... WHAT KIND OF STAIN is actually ONyour clothes iron. Is it a dyed stain, a paint stain, a rust stain, a melted plastic stain, a glue stain. People here are willing to help. Be more specific with your question!
