Where can I buy corkboard tiles?

I am looking for basical 12x12 corkboard tiles - people often use them for flooring. I went on Lowes and Home Depot sites but they didn't have anything. Do they have them in store by any chance? Where else would you look for them?

you can find them at michaels - the arts and crafts store - look in the office supplies section. i would know, i work there!

You should be able to find them at the major DIY stores and discount stores. I don't think I'd use them on the floor though. They are not very durable and won't last very long. Cork is a soft material and breaks easily.

I've not seen them used as flooring, but more often as the name describes, as cork boards. I've bought them at Staples and WalMart, and you can usually find them in light and dark colors, and are self sticking. By the way, they're not expensive.

You need to go to a real flooring store and they will have them. A national company?... Carpet Garage or better yet look in the phone book under "Flooring"
