I live in Indiana and I am over 18. I have held my permit for almost 60 days now. Do I have to take the drivers test for a license? If so, when should I schedule?

You do not have to take a driver test, unless, of course, you want to drive! As far as scheduling goes, it totally depends on your readiness. 60 days is not very long to have learned how to drive, no matter what your age, unless you have spent a lot of days with a driving instructor. When I learned to drive, I had my learner's for 6 months, and learned to drive in the city, on the highway, in traffic, on open roads, in daylight and darkness, in sunshine, and snow, in rain, and on ice. If you have not been taught in all the conditions that apply to the part of the country you are in, it doesn't matter if you pass your test or not, you don't know how to drive yet. I have driven over a million miles since I got my licence, and I am still alive, so I must have learned something right.

depending on your driving record. test is way too easy especially now days. i wonder how some people get their license when they
can only steer a car sort of. i think all new drivers should be able to drive a stick shift and pull a trailer to get a license.

I'm pretty sure all potential drivers, no matter what their age is, must take a written test. It would be silly for the BMV to issue a license to somebody based on their age without testing them first. Check the link below.
