And doesn't care if you like it or not?

Wouldn't jealousy come into play?

No I wouldn't. That's why trust is important in a relationship.

The main issue here is, did your boy/girlfriend have lots of friends of the opposite sex when you met him/her?. If so, you cannot try to change them.
Now if all of a sudden they began hanging out with people of the opposite sex and it makes your partner happy but makes you jealous then voice your concern. You have to keep in mind that the more you stress this area of a relationship, the more you may cause your partner to lose faith in the relationship and soon you have nothing. There is someone for everyone out there.
If it becomes a constant problem for you and yours then you may need to find help with the jealousy issue and or find a new partner.

The main thing you have to remember is that people you love are not your property.

I suppose I would be jealous, but I'm working on that base emotion. Ideally, not being jealous would enhance my prospects of preserviing the relationship with my girlfriend.

From a 19th Century madrigal:

Prithee, why so pale and wan, fond lover, prithee why so pale?
Will when looking well not move her, looking ill prevail?
Prithee, why so pale?

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WAS JEALOUS. BUT THEN I REALIZED IT WAS LIKE THE CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRL SYNDROME. MEANING THEY WILL DO THE OPPOSITE. MEANING IF YOU REALIZE SOMEONE WILL DO WHATEVER IT IS THEY WILL DO YOU CANNOT CONTROL PEOPLE MAKING THEIR OWN DECISIONS. UNFORTUNATELY, I LEARNED THE HARD WAY BY BEING JEALOUS MY GIRLFRIEND ENDED UP GIVING A GUY A ********. SO, THE KEY IS TO REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE TO BE COOL AND CONFIDENT IN YOURSELF. PART OF IT YOU CANNOT CONTROL AS A MALE BECAUSE IT IS ENGRAINED IN OUR DNA THAT WE MUST REPRODUCE AND THAT CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED IF WE HOLD ONTO A MATE. IT SUCKS SOMETIMES BEING A MAMMAL BUT IT BEATS BEING A FROG

If he hung out with her more than he hangs out with me I would be suspicious but I cannot change how he feels. If he would rather be with her than I would expect him to be honest with me and break it off. If they are just friends or co-workers I would not have a problem with him hanging out with her. Of course I would prefer that if he did that she was gay. LOL

no why should I he has never given me a reason to. I hang out primarily with men so if I can hang with men then he should hang with woman.

I trust him he trust me if there is no trust then there should be no US
